Good wholesome book lists for Christian boys are hard to find. My daughter’s love of books, and my determination to give them quality over quantity has also helped in finding the books that fill their mind while shaping their character. This list gives me the peace of mind that I’m proving quality books that compliments our Charlotte Mason way of educating.

A Book List for Christian Boys
Our boys have never been labeled as ‘book worms’ or ‘avid readers’, so I wanted to be sure that what I provided for them in the way of books were carefully selected for them, and not just thoughtless thrown in from of them. I wanted every book to matter to them.
This book list for Christian boys are ones that I will ensure that all of my boys will read at one point in their homeschool journey.

I’m really looking forward to checking out these books! My oldest son is 7, with 3 more boys behind him. I came from a home of all girls so I need wisdom in this area! 😉
Bringing up boys by Dr. Dobson.
After 9 girls, I finally had a son. He is only 2 right now so I know my resources will change, but I read blogs by moms of boys and talk to my friends that have boys.
Thank you so much for book list! I have 3 boys of my own and are always looking for boy interest books. :).
I have 4 boys and 2 girls. I am a firm believer that boys are easier Ha! Thanks for the book lists – they’re great!!
My son is just over a year so I try to find a variety of resources.
I liked the book Raising Boys
Would love to win! I have 2 boys (11 & 16) and toddler girl!
What are the age groups for these books
I hesitate to put ages on my book list because each family is different. I tend to read aloud books that are just over my child’s ability so that I can get good things into them, instead of waiting until they are able to read it on their own.
Hal and Melanie Young’s blog has been a huge encouragement for me as I raise my younger boys. I wish I’d had access to their wisdom when I was raising my 21 year old boy. Fortunately he was a pretty easy kid.
I have three girls and just had a boy, so I am interested in these books for when he’s a bit bigger. So I don’t have any favs yet!
