A Joy-filled Mom

Helping you protect your joy in motherhood

Hey y’all! I’m Dollie! A joy-filled mom who lost her joy in motherhood at 30-years-old. Now I help moms, just like you, discover how to experience joy as a mom and protect it, even in the chaos.

My Story

I was living my dream life of being a wife and mother, and yet, I seemed to be just going through the motions of motherhood without the emotions of joy.

I couldn’t put my finger on the cause of my joyless existence, but I knew that something had to change because from the outside looking in, my life was perfect.

Realizing that my reflections, choices, habit, and hinderances were the cause of my joy being chipped away, I became equipped with the steps to getting my joy back and protecting it from the mundane and overwhelming duties of motherhood.

Now, I use my battle scars to empower moms to fight for their joy while eliminating the hinders in their lives.

My Values & Beliefs

My Faith

My faith is the source of my joy. Life is hard regardless if you’re a mom or not. I can’t imagine where I would be today if it weren’t for knowing that “The joy of the Lord is my strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

My Family

My family is the joy of my life, even when things get overhwhelming. Motherhood is the hardest jobs on earth, but the reward of motherhood surpasses any challenge I’ve faced yet in 25 years of being a mom.

My Calling

My calling to help moms experience joy in motherhood is a passion that goes deep within my gut. I know what it feels like to be in the trenches, while hiding the battle wounds behind fake smiles and routine affection.

My Approach

Joy is essential in anything we spend most of our day doing. Yet, moms often overlook this essential element until it is almost too late.

My approach to joy in motherhood is simple…

1) Identify what is hindering you joy and eliminate it.

2) Discover what increases your joy and do it more.

3) Become transparent with those you love for the support in the transition and fight for your joy in motherhood.
